Project Manager – Energy & Sustainability

An opportunity for an early-to-mid career energy professional ready to step beyond a purely technical or analytical role and take greater ownership of projects and client relationships.

This is a hands-on position offering exposure to energy efficiency, renewables, onsite generation, compliance, emerging technologies and client delivery — with the opportunity to develop your project management and commercial skills alongside experienced technical teams.

We’re particularly interested in people who have built a foundation in energy, energy efficiency, renewables, energy management or related project delivery and are now looking for their next step.

The Role
You will manage a range of client projects across energy efficiency, onsite generation and energy compliance, working with technical specialists, engineers and external partners to deliver practical solutions.

You’ll also build relationships with suppliers and technology partners across areas including:

Renewable energy
Solar, wind and hydro
EV and electrification
Lighting
CHP and onsite generation
Energy efficiency

Key Responsibilities
Project manage energy efficiency, onsite generation and compliance projects
Manage client relationships and support projects from initial discussions through to completion
Work with engineers on onsite audits, including project coordination, data and client liaison
Identify energy efficiency and technology opportunities for clients
Build and manage relationships with external technical and delivery partners
Keep up to date with relevant energy and carbon legislation, including ESOS, SECR and European energy compliance
Support internal teams with energy and sustainability-related queries
Contribute to the development of new client services and opportunities
Present findings and recommendations to clients and other stakeholders

You don’t need to have experience across every area listed above. We’re looking for someone with a good technical foundation, strong communication skills and the ambition to develop their project management and client-facing experience.
