Carbon Accounting – Senior Consultant

Lewis Davey is recruiting a Senior Consultant to join a growing Carbon & Decarbonisation team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with large, global organisations, providing strategic guidance on their journey to net zero.

You will play a key role in delivering both quantitative and qualitative insights, leading carbon accounting initiatives, and shaping long-term decarbonisation strategies for complex, multi-site portfolios.

Role/Responsibilities

• Lead carbon accounting and footprinting projects across diverse client portfolios
• Perform complex carbon modelling and calculations, primarily using Excel
• Advise clients on practical emissions reduction strategies (e.g. electrification, heat pumps)
• Assess both carbon and cost impacts at portfolio level, not just individual sites
• Develop and present clear, actionable decarbonisation roadmaps
• Build strong client relationships, including regular face-to-face engagement

What you will need to succeed

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a relevant role
• Strong technical expertise in carbon accounting and modelling
• Experience working with large corporate clients (consulting background preferred)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to combine technical delivery with strategic client advisory
